Our Mission
BioStrategy Partners (BioSP) is a 501c3 nonprofit consortium of academic medical centers and research institutes with members including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Jefferson University, Duke National University of Singapore, Penn State University, Temple University, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and The Wistar Institute. Together, our members conduct $2 billion in annual research that generates more than 500 discoveries per year.
BioSP develops and offers programs and services to foster industry-academic collaboration, aid technology development, and commercialization, and contribute to the ongoing education of faculty and graduate students about the commercialization and technology transfer processes. In addition, BioSP manages the BioLaunch 611 Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ), one of the largest geographic Keystone Innovation Zones in Pennsylvania, which supports life science and advanced manufacturing startup companies with tax credit opportunities.
