Germinator increases the life sciences industry awareness of potentially interesting academic technologies and facilitates industry-academic collaborations to de-risk technologies of interest to pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Germinator collaborates with GlaxoSmithKline and Janssen Research & Development, LLC.
New for 2018: The AmpTech Medical Devices Germinator program.
BioSP has partnered with AmpTech (https://amptech.org/ ) to advance innovative medical device inventions. The program couples high level technical and business feasibility analyses with development, in cooperation with member institutions, a functional prototype that can attract the attention of investors, entrepreneurs, and strategic partners.
Practical Knowledge Series (PKS)Practical Knowledge Series is a monthly forum for bringing content-area experts together with members of the academic, technology transfer, and entrepreneurial communities to share information, experience and insights on topics related to commercialization of life sciences technologies. It is hosted at a member institution or University Place Associates with remote tie-in to partnering sites. Sponsorship of the PKS includes MVM Associates and Caesar Rivise.
